Application: Along the 24 km long railway line between Rotterdam and Hoek van Holland, RET decided to use olivine as an inspection path, which is the self-binding gravel next to the ballast. Olivine prevents weeds from growing into the ballast resulting in less maintanance

Application: The municipality of Breda decided on 150 tons of greenSand olivine chippings as material for a stable and water-permeable substructure for the artificial turf. The climate-positive olivine construction has been approved by the KIWA as a substructure material for artificial turf pitches.

Application: For a prototype of a sustainable city park that is full of innovative technologies, the team of landscape designers and scientists decided to use greenSand's decorative aggreates. This creates a stable subsurface, which at the same time reduces the CO2 content of the air.
